THE SEATTLE AQUARIUM'S OCEAN PAVILION
The centerpiece of Seattle’s revitalized waterfront, the Ocean Pavilion demonstrates our region’s commitment to global conservation to millions of people—from locals to visitors from all over the world. This expansion of the Seattle Aquarium brings free experiences to the estimated 15 million people who will visit our city’s waterfront each year. A viewing window provides a look into the Ocean Pavilion’s largest habitat, The Reef. Public spaces on and around the building feature installations by local Indigenous artists. The public rooftop, featuring unparalleled views out to the Salish Sea, helps create a long-awaited, accessible connection between downtown’s Pike Place Market and the waterfront. And just outside the Ocean Pavilion’s front doors is the city’s new, 20-acre Waterfront Park, perfect for strolling and exploring.
